Here we are at Day 6 and its still raining, big surprise. We all had a wonderful sleep and actually slept in a bit today. John got away safely on his sailing adventure with a friend in Scotland. Ruth provided us a wonderful breakfast after which she graciously volunteered to bring us to the Transportation and Folk museum. The transportation museum covered everything from rail travel, to cars, airplanes and motorcycle's. The museum also had a very informative exhibit dedicated to the Titanic as it was constructed in the Belfast shipyards. We saw several unique English cars including Grandpa Kings Morris. We continued on the tour of the museum after a good lunch again provided by Ruth. The Folk museum is set up with buildings from all over Northern Ireland that were taken apart piece by piece and reconstructed on this site. Staff are wearing period costumes and actually create some of the old crafts such as weaved baskets. I wanted to get a good shot of Belfast Harbour but the rain was not cooperating so we took a neat shot of the shoreline as you will see below. We will spend another night with Ruth and then head up to the cottage in Port Balyntre for a few days. If the weather cooperates we should have a lot more pictures. "Cheers"
