Day 5

Day 5 arrived at our best Hotel yet.  We all had a great sleep at the New Grange Hotel in Slane.  After a great breakfast at the Hotel we headed to New Grange and managed to get lost again, but its becoming fun now so we almost try to.  We arrived at the New Grange temple in the pouring rain and proceeded to get soaked waiting for our turn inside the temple.  When we finally were allowed to enter the temple, it was well worth the soggy wait.  The inside is spectacular with all of the original stones still in place from 5,000 +/- years ago.  We carried on to Belfast after this as none of us were in the mood to stand in the rain for any more attractions.  Ruth and John welcomed us warmly to there house in Hollywood.  Unfortunately the days of travel in uncomfortable plane seats and hard beds had taken there toll on my back.  John and Ruth arranged a Chiropractic appointment in a clinic where one of their friends works.  I attended my appointment while John showed the rest of the family around the town.  The most interesting site was the dry dock where the Titanic was built.  John tried to take us for a walk on the beach in the harbour area but again the rain ruined our plans.  Instead, John drove us around to a few more of the sites including a very large park leased to the local scout troop of which John is involved.  Well that's all for tonight, I have to go rest my back.  Hope to have lots of pictures for tomorrows Blog.
