Well we got a late start on Day 4 and didn't make it out of Dublin trill after noon. Our rental car is a Renault Elegane. Its small but it holds our luggage and is quite sporty. It took some getting used to driving ion the wrong side of the road but I think I am getting the hang of it. The roads are very narrow and in order to avoid the cars on my side I have had to hit the trees on Claire's side which has been unnerving for her so we folded the mirror in on her side. As far as sightseeing, we did not do much due to the late start. We visited the hills of Tara, an ancient Pagan site of worship. New Grange was supposed to be next but was sold out for the day so we carried on down the road and got lost in Glendough. We ended up at a pub and got directions to the New Grange Hotel in Navin. I had the best meal I have had in Ireland yet, seafood chowder and duck yum!!! Cell phone use has been difficult to learn but we think we have it figured out now. Contact has been made with our Northern Irish hoists, John and Ruth and we will be joining them tomorrow after New Grange hopefully. Claire also spoke to cousin Barry and Trevor to let them know we were in the country. Cheers and hopefully we will have more pictures to post tomorrow.
The happy boys waiting for the bus outside our hotel.
The Joiner boys at the hills of Tara.
Claire at the wish tree on the hills of Tara.
An example of the narrow roads we are driving on.
A book in the Hotels library we thought Bruce might be interested in.
